This is a very popular Visa program in Panama which we are proud to assist our clients in obtaining. There are two ways to go about obtaining this Visa.

Small Investment Option:
Involves making a $60,000 minimum investment by purchasing no less than 3 hectares in a government approved project for reforestation. You receive a 6 year temporary residency visa which is then extendable every 2 years. This Visa will not lead to permanent residency or citizenship. The investment can come from you personally or from a corporation. Additional $2,000 is required for each dependent you want to include.

Large Investment Option (most recommended):
Involves making an $80,000 minimum investment by purchasing no less than 5 hectares in a government approved project for reforestation, forest plantation or other approved project. This Visa will allow you to obtain permanent residence after 2 years. Eventually citizenship will be attainable as well under this Visa program. Again, an additional $2,000 is required for each dependent included in the Visa.
